- “ Honestly, I was astounded at this hostel; it has charm, interesting staff, and an insane amount of facilitation for activities and personal enhancement (arts, dance, plays, botanical gardens,lectures, restaurants, tours, night life, coffee shops, outings, educational events). The atmosphere is like a magical garden, the kitchen/common areas/ dorm rooms are spotless, and it's run by this amazing doctorate student named Mary; she is warm, fascinating and knows EVERYTHING in/about Phx. Stay here :) ”

- “ HI - Phoenix is a blast with such a truly unique and artistic atmosphere. I read that this hostel reminds you about backpacking, and that is absolutely true! The staff are terrific, and genuinely care. They keep a great place, with lots of stuff happening at the hostel. And, the hostel has tours to so many places that I wouldn't be able to go otherwise, without a care. Music nights, dinner night, bars, hikes, museums, and fires...non-stop...chill atmosphere in the day! Clean, safe, ARTY GO ”

- “ Amazing!! This hostel has so much character! It actually has murals and art from other hostelers throughout the years! The people who work there are so fun and really love their city. We went on a hiking tour with Kate and she told us about all of the plants in the desert. Then Tuey took us out at night to see a local band at this really cool bar downtown! I planned on staying 2 nights and stayed 5 instead! There was just so much exciting things to do! Really the BESTbackpacking hostel!!! ”
