- “ Loved HI Baltimore, great staff, very peaceful. The location was great, close to everything I wanted to see. I will definitely go back as I still had more places in the city I wanted to visit. If you are a traveler who needs a good safe place to sleep and is not looking for luxury, this is the place. I am a longtime member of HI and am in my early fifties and still meet wonderful people young and old from all over the world. It was a very good experience. ”

- “ I really liked the hostel at all, specially the guy who ask you to say good morning in any language other than english at the breakfast, and then introduces you to another guests. This guy makes me feel confortable and welcome. The tour to Georgetown with Mark is also a good choice :-) ”

- “ The staff was incredibly friendly and amazing... ah- My favorite DC reception staff women, really really cool. The place does get busy and they work really hard to keep it clean, but the bathrooms can get a bit out of sorts... this does not reflect in any way on the staff. They work very hard and keep it together in a very busy atmospheare and that is admirable. The reception is helpful giving advice on places to eat, visit and shop in Washington. Thank you so much folks. ”

- “ staff were very friendly, especially john, the breakfast guy. all rooms - bathroom, bedroom, dining room etc. - we very clean. bed was comfy. about a 10-15 min walk to the the national mall. in close proximity to the circular bus which goes out to georgetown.overall, really good! ”

- “ Excellent from all sides, true!! I was a little bit afraid at first. But, as soon as I checked in and spent a few hours there, all my fears were away!! Very good service, hastle free, friendly, clean, secure, safe, friendly. The kitchen guy was also an excellent person. I definitely recommend HI-DC for a safe, economic and trouble free stay in Washington DC. ”

- “ We enjoyed our 3 nights stay here - friendly staff, especially at breakfast (can't remember his name, unfortunately!). HI is one of the big hostels, of course. Many people here and sometimes a little loud in the rooms when ppl dont care about the others sleeping, for example. Despite that, you will have mostly clean bathrooms, internet (2$/40min) and free wifi. ”

- “ Best location of any place in DC! Few minutes walking and you're at the Mall, White House, Memorials, Congress, everything. The city has a LOT to do, best part of all my 7-city trip through US. Hostel staff is somewhat blasé, but okay. Ventilation was terrible, I actually kept awake 1 full night, sweating a lot, but all the rest is perfect. Great breakfast, beds are good. Hostel has 8 floors, 1 single sloooow elevator, great way to exercise your legs through the stairs! Would definitely be back. ”
