  • Nice that there are no windows in the rooms. Really easy to sleep late if you have been out late. Very small hostel and it is really a shame that all the toilets are located at at the entrance. You have to walk through the kitchen and the TV lounge to get to the toilet or the shower.

  • Hostel is a cellar in fact. Rooms without windows and with huge tubes all through the room. Very cold and loud air conditioning. Floor, kitchen and toilet dirty. Definitely not worth the enormous price! Other guests very noisy (laundry dryer at 3 am!), slamming doors and partying all through the night. Bedbugs and other insects in the room. For €50 p.p. and night you can definitely find something better!

  • Bunk beds had comfortable Ikea mattresses, but no curtains. No windows in the room made for a nice dark sleep, but extremely bright light shone in from the hallway if the door was opened. Advertised a hair dryer for hire, but I was told it was broken a few days ago, with no mention of any plan to buy a new one. No complaints about showers, toilets, or wifi. Convenient location, short walk to just about everything. Overall a good place to stay - I would return and would recommend it to others.

  • The bedsheets were thick, the cushions were firm but comfortable, and the heater was just the right kind of warm. Wifi was also very strong. The website indicated that coffee or tea would be available. It was but only coffee for the machine was available, the creamer was finished on our second day, and there was no milk. And the food I left in the fridge got lost. It would also have been better if the kitchen was not on the way to the showers and toilets. But overall, everything else was great!

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
