I do not recomend this hostel. It's on a street full of bars, music can be heard as if it was played in the room until 4am in the morning 7 days a week (in every room with a window, which are at least half of them). The atmosphere is more that of a basic hotel than that of a hostel, no decoration, no music, no nothing. There's no bar in the terrace as they claim. No wi-fi in the common room, only on the reception. I've moved to a much better hostel also in Palermo city center Victoria, from Italy ~ 15th Oct 2011

It is located above the most noisy pubs that I have ever been to in my life. I got there at nigth, and it was quite scary. The girl at the reception did not now much about the hostel, she is there only for a fewweekends... It got better after that, when I got to know the place I felt more relaxed and started enjoying it more! They have cheap beer to enjoy in the terrace. Segundo, from Argentina ~ 27th Sep 2011

The staff is very polite and helpful. You need to know, that in downstairs situate the Italy karaoke bar and from there you will hear the songs until 4 am every night, so take the earplugs with you. Kitchen is very good, terrasse also, clean and nice place. Mart, from Estonia ~ 30th Mar 2011
