Although we stayed in a 5-bed female dorm room with no other guests in the room for three days and the bathroom was down the hall, when I told the desk staff that my 20 yr old daughter was sick and could not tour Berlin with me and needed her own key, the clerk refused to issue us a second key. Therefore I had to leave my daughter sleeping in an unlocked room so that she could get to the bathroom. I had to take the one key issued to me so that I could enter the building and hallway to get to my daughter. Furthermore, without a key my daughter could not exit her hallway to get to the front desk in the case of an emergency. That there was no second key for my daughter, when the room had five beds, is not something I accept as truth-telling by the clerk.

I really had a nice stay in this hostel...it's definitely welcoming and very clean, breakfast is excellent :) and the people who work there are very very nice, funny and helpful for any needs you should have...it's located in a cool area, full of bars and nightlife, and superclose to the tube and the train station. For sure if I happen to come to Berlin again I'll stay there. bye bye Veronica

The hostel is very clean and is located near a S-Bahn and U-Bahn station. Therefore you can be in the center of Berlin within 15 minutes.

This would be the worst place ever to stay if you were alone or looking to meet ot atleast speak to another human being!! The location was ok as there was a train stop close by which is not impossible to understand by it was quite a rough area. The hostel itself well what do you say it was in an apartment block we think i was wiht my frined thankfully otherwise i would have cried and left as it was freaky besides the abrupt receptionist we saw no one in 3 days in the whole place. Its def not the place to go if you are looking for a good time or to meet other people. WE did an amazing insight walking tour which i recommend and the other travellers were all staying in hostels in the city that has things going on and had met there etc. we were lucky enough to have our own room whch was clean and comfy so that was the only plus in what i can only say as a crap stay.

one of the nicest hostels i stayed in. beds were comforable and everything was clean. very close the the metro station and located on a great street with loads of shops, cafes etc. one block back from the hostel are hundreds of cafes, pubs and bars. only negative point was the kitchen was tiny and not really suitable to cook.

My partner & myself were very impressed with the hostel. We stayed for 4 nights the first time and on our way home we stayed for one night. The staff were very friendly, they spoke excellent English (which was helpful) and the rooms were very clean and quiet. I would happily stay there again next time I'm in Berlin.
