Hotel Annemarie in Amsterdam, Netherlands

This was the worst hostel that I stayed in. I went to 12 different countries in 8 weeks and I have to say the staff was horrible, the room was horribly hot and crowded and the price was too much. The worst part was the staff...Very rude and unhelpful. Marty, from USA ~ 27th Aug 2009

The hostal is in easy walking distance to the party area and the museum district. The staff are really friendly and helpfull. They will take away the breakfast stuff at 9 o'clock though - even when you are still eating. The bathrooms are a bit gross because the shower is literally next to the toilet and they smell. Staff very kind, they know the city very well and are very helpfull. More service than in many hostels (breakfast included, linen etc.) The hostel is very well located (near the Concertgebouw, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and Stadelijk museum). Adrien, from Canada ~ 29th Jul 2009

my room smelled like shit only rm #7. but it was a great location, quite, near the parks and museums, 30 min. walk from red light. staff was great. breakfest was bread and oats,juice, grocery store across the street and kitchen was available until 10 at night. great staff. domenico, from USA ~ 17th Aug 2009
