I spent here 5 nights with my girlfriend and we had a nice time. First we had a room with 100 year-old wallpaper and it was a very small room and smoking. Next evening we saw the other rooms, they very much bigger, non-smoking and with brand new equipments. We were allowed to move to the room next to the initial one, free of charge. That room was excellent, no complaints at all. I made the reservation a couple of days before my arrival and it was the last free room according to Hostels.com, this might have been the reason for accomodating us in probably the worst room of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everybody and I would return there as well. Avoid room 21 unless you are a heavy smoker and you don't mind having very limited space! Location is excellent, lots of restaurants in the area, Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coure are within walking distance.

Basic accomodation in the rooms, everything needed but the room and hotel seemed to be a bit old and shabby. Good enough though if you want a cheap and brief stay.

We were put in a quad on the ground floor and asked to switch to a higher level because we were concered about security. The bathroom was clean. We were able to extend our stay one night no problem. We were only 3 blocks from the Metro and ate breakfast as a cute bakery just next door. The night guard was very nice and the staff spoke some English. We were about 10 minute walk from the Moulin Rouge in Monmartre, a very nice arty neighborhood.

Not really a hostel, more like a hotel as the name says. Stayed for 4 nights, in a double room. The room was nice and clean, but small. The same goes for the bathroom. The walls are quite thin. Great location, with metro station 100m. away. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only letdown was the breakfast, which contrary to what's stated on hostels.com is NOT included in the price. Overall great value for the money.

Place is good value for money and it's a stones throw from the Metro 'Place de Clichy'... best part of this place is that there seems to be pretty much everything around. A boulangerie round the corner, tonnes of eating places, a bookstore in case you get bored, souvenir shop even and a fantastic eating Italian restaurant across the street (9euros for a heaping plate of a Riccotoni Amatriciana), skip the Japanese restaurant if you can help it. The rooms are alright for the price but the bathroom is the tiniest ever. All in all, a good deal for the price range.

A very good hostel, considering the star rating. The rooms are nice, although the floor is so uneven that you get dissy when you walk on it. The walls are paper thin, but we stayed here in January when there were few visitors at the hotel so that was no problem for us.

We had a fantastic time staying at the Hotel Camelia. The bed was very comfy and we had a great week's stay. The only comments are that the room smelt of cigarettes the first few nights from the previous occupant and that the bathroom was tiny - although you can't help that in Paris! Thanks again. The location of the hotel is not bad, but there is a lot more near this one. I dont recommend because the staff is terrible... and the bathroom is really small!!

An ok place for the price... just make sure you dont get Room#1. Room#1 is right next to the reception... you can hear everything going on in the lobby clear as day. Pillows were very flat... caution: dont look inside the pillowcases! again... ok place for the price.
