The staff was friendly, but unless the receptionists were around (the weren't at all times), communicating in English was difficult. The manager was polite but that was not enough to appreciate his general attitude. Lots of extra charges for everything and bad arrangements with the parking at the hotel's (terrible) garage. The hotel was perfectly fine for what it is: the beds were comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, location excellent, and breakfast service friendly and food tasty. However, it's quite loud, as I could hear clamor in the halls and the shower next door, which woke me up (I'm a light sleeper). I found hair on the floor and in the shower that wasn't mine, and the advertised internet service was unavailable. There is parking available as well, but you'd better have a very small car. Hostels.com actually booked us in a room that was already reserved, so when we got there we had a little trouble. There were no more rooms left for the night and we had already aid our down payment. Luckily someone cancelled and they were able to put us in a huge room with a Jacuzzi Shower :) It was a nice surprise, but we were a little disappointed with Hostels.com for booking us a room in a non-vacant hotel. I and my family is very much pleased with the behavior and the services offered by Hotel Jaguar. Really we had a very good time. The best thing is we got the best hotel at very low price. After leaving this hotel in Germany and when reaching other hotels at rome, Italy and Paris, France; I can say that Hotel Jaguar is the best of all the three hotels that i stayed in throughout my trip.
