Overall very good. Note the 11:30pm curfew though.

A lovely, friendly and peaceful hotel, we had a wonderful but sadly brief stay here. Hotel Kamogawa acts perfectly as a base from which to explore places of interest some right on your doorstep and others easily accessible by using nearby (within a short walking distance) transport links.

Quite nice and an nice staff. For being where the action is (unless you want to be in Shinjuku), the location is ideal. Two things that should be noted on your website description of the hotel: 1)Emphasis that rooms are not Western style - they have futons. 2) Hotel has a 23:30 curfew.

My family all loved it here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our rooms were fantastic. It had a really great feel about it, very comfortable and easy going. This was by far the best hostel we stayed in during our visit.Great area too, inexpensive shops and eateries, close to transport and quiet after hours. We would definitely recommend Hotel Kamogawa and would happily stay here again.
A great place to stay, in an interesting area. The room was comfortable and clean. The shared facilities were excellent - the Japanese bath was wonderful...Thanks. Alex and Eleanor

Ha curfew of 11:30 made this place pretty average for young people ,especially the grudging bad looks we would get even arriving back at 10:30 when they would have to unlock the front door for us.

It's not in the most poppin' section of town, but one of their staff members speaks pretty good English, which is a nice plus. Their showers fluctuate a lot with the hot water though, which can be annoying.
After slumming it across Britain sleeping on friends lounges and floors it was a welcome relief to have our own space. Staff speak absolutely no english - there were a few problems with their machine accepting my Visa card but otherwise a great place to stay. The curfew limited our evening activities, but if you are looking to go out at night you are better off staying in Shibuya or Roppongi.
Rooms are great, I dont feel the curew was a good idea and more English would have been nice but amazingly clean and rooms where a great size!

Good location near Sensouji Temple as well as shopping streets. Staff was really great and friendly. Our room was tatami with futon but our own bathroom, and it was great! Also, free internet was nice and there's an elevator which helps with bags.
