This hostel had its own character! Starting from the bone handle of the entrance door to the fantastic view of our room windows over the small streets. It has been a special stay!

GREAT LOCATION! Nice little private room, the bathroom is shared but it is always clean, staff was helpful. I would definitelly reccomend it to anybody who is planning on visiting Berlin!
We thought Hotel Otter was great. The rooms where spacious & clean as was the bathroom. We loved the breakfast!!!! We were very excited to find a picture in the in-flight magazine on our way home of a street in the Old City and there was Hotel Otter as well......we kept the mag to keep with our other holiday memories. Thanx 4 everything
Definately will stay here again when i go through Zurich again! i was on the 4th floor but i guess if you are on a lower floor it could be loud, but the windows are pretty solid (noise prof).

Rooms were decorated in a funky way. Rooms come with a basin, separate toilet and bathroom are shared between every 3 rooms. Hotel has an elevator. Great location, close to everything. I walked to the main train station in 15 minutes. Friendly staff. Decent European breakfast.

needs a lift accessible to guests. Carrying our bags down 6 flights of stairs was not a fun way to end our stay.
The hostel itself was nice. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the themes were kind of interesting. The only downside was the noise level. When you had the windows closed, it got too hot. When you had the windows open, the bar downstairs was very loud. The noise levels continued past the bar's closing time (till about 3 - 4 am) due to drunken locals / tourists that hollered and echoed through Oberdorf Strasse.
