I had bad experience on first night I stayed. I was checking in very late 11pm. The woman in the reception did not speak English at all. Prior to that I had to cancel one night of my stay in there out of 3 nights. I understood that everything was canceled. They don't use computer to organize booking system. She was very rude. And even though I overpaid I got a room but still didn't get my bed sheets. I didn't bother to argue and look for new place it was too late(nearly midnight) But day time s Denis, from Russia ~ 5th Nov 2009

plus: staff really friendly, they helped out for all they could and did not complain when we checked out almost two hours too late. minus: you can hear everyting in this rather-hostel-than-hotel, the walls are like paper, the doors slam shut like a little earthquake, the toilets rush loudly. and the beds make noises everytime you turn. better take earplugs with you. the free wireless accesible in all rooms doesn't have signal in the rooms. summary: For this price it is ok what you get. Great spot for the price, very close to the Metro. Hotel shows its age, but its just character. Just don't make too much noise downstairs at night, she will yell at you in french. Zachary, from USA ~ 1st Oct 2009

bed sheets cost 3 €, didn't find the room very clean, it was very loud at night, you could here people taking showers, location was okay, not so far to the inner city, very near to the cemetery pere lachaise (jim morrisons grave), was okay for the price.. Karoline, from Austria ~ 30th Sep 2009

The staff are ok and the place is very well located, next to Bastille and Republique. There is not a toilet on the room and you have to pay for towels and shits! Is simple but agreable. BR aida, from Spain ~ 2nd Sep 2009

The bathrooms are filthy, and in some of them the toiletseats are missing. No sinks in the bathrooms, only in your room. The showers were even wore, i have never seen a shower in that condition. And the expensive sheets you can hire was like all other things with the "hotel"

This was the worst hostel out my trip. The staff was rude and not at all welcoming. The room was simple and clean, but smell a bit due to the sink in the room. There's is also no lounge space - but then again you are in paris so why would you want to stay in the hotel? sofia, from Portugal ~ 16th Sep 2009

It would be very good if the staff could speak English or perhaps German. Steffan, from Sweden ~ 20th Aug 2009
