I have stayed in Richard hotel for 4 nights and paid 150 euro. I can only say that it was more than ok. The location is very good (there is a metro station on 3 minutes walk), the room was very worm and we had at all time hot water to make a shower. I must say that me and my girlfriend booked a double bed room with private bathroom. We arrived at 6 pm and the person that give us the room key speak english. per essere a Parigi il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccellente, certo bisogna accontentarsi del bagno un po spartano ma che viene pulito ogni giorno. la colazione che non è delle migliori (ma c'è). lo staff non parla altre lingue se non il francese, ma almeno con noi son stati molto gentili. riscaldamento eccellente ed aqua calda a volontà. To start with the positive things, the location was fantastic and the area was as well. Besides the owner was kind and he did not let us wait too long for the room. But the room was a bit of a disapointment. First of all there was no bathroom in it. It was also dirty and there was no room service. We had to pay for the towels and sheets whitch I think is unacceptabel. And some of the staff did not understand a single word in english and was unkind too. Maher, from Denmark ~ 2nd Jan 2010

The hotel is located in the centre of Bastille and Bastille is a very nice part of Paris. Even thought the location is good, the hotel it self is not very good at all. It's not clean and there are bedbugs during night in bed. There are probably better hotels in the area. Do not stay here. Lina, from Sweden ~ 15th Nov 2009

I had bad experience on first night I stayed. I was checking in very late 11pm. The woman in the reception did not speak English at all. Prior to that I had to cancel one night of my stay in there out of 3 nights. I understood that everything was canceled. They don't use computer to organize booking system. She was very rude. And even though I overpaid I got a room but still didn't get my bed sheets.
