Hotel Totem Beach Resorts in Salamanca, Costa Rica

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Totem Beach Resort! The location of the hotel is right across the street from one of the best and most beautiful beaches in town, Playa Cocles, and it is nearby many restaurants and shops in town (~1.5km/15 min walk). The hotel itself has a gorgeous garden, great pool and hammocks, as well as an on-site restaurant that served great food. My only complaint is that our bed was extremely uncomfortable - the mattress was quite hard and the bed itself was EXTREMELY sq Susanna, from Canada ~ 10th Apr 2012

The Totem was BEAUTIFUL!It isyou located on a quieter part of town which was nice, but need bikes to get to town quicker.They were only 6 dollars per day, so that was okay.The grounds are beautiful, the pool is beautiful, and the beach is directly across the street.It was definitely the best part of the beach for us.Their two dogs even stayed with us one day on the beach, and it was so fun!They give a free appetizer of bruschetta, and it was delicious!also, the free breakfast buffet CANNOT b Diana, from USA ~ 16th Jun 2011
