Hotel by Sofia in Istanbul, Turkey

Stuff was really nice and willing to help. Great location. Room was in the basement so there was not enough light. Fırst nıght the hotel was full so the owner found us alternatıve hotel in the neighbourhood. The owner is very kınd. Nıce view from the terrace. Breakfast was very nice, coffee and tea included. Cheap, in an ideal location. They locked every night after a certain hour, which caused some inconvenience for everyone! We were initially showed to room no. 1, which is really the building's worst: underground with no direct sunlight and very low bathroom ceiling. At our request, however, we were easily and happily showed to a much better room. Breakfast was good. All in all, for our 4 nights there it was pretty good. I would recommend it for the budget visitor to Istanbul. Just remember to avo Dimitris, from Greece ~ 2nd Oct 2009
