Quite nice for the price. We enjoyed our stay. Better bring your own toilet paper and sleeping bag/blanket though. Cleanliness was accepteble for the amount we payed. Really close to the train station and a 10-15 min walk from the beach, close to shops and internet cafes, but not the best neighbourhood.

The clerk was very nice and very helpful. we had a four bedroom just for the two of us! the location is unbeatable for the price. the beach is only a five minute walk away. you can get anywhere in nice very quick from this hostel. if I come back I am staying at Alizes again for sure. the guy also let us leave our bags there after we checked out until it was time to catch our train. there is no reason to choose another hostel. the best.

Indicating that people should bring their own sleeping bags or sheets could be nice. Adding a service of renting sheets would be exellent

Five beds in a room for two. Had to pay in cash up front.

the guy who runs this place might be crazy. if you're on his good side (and we were) he's awesome. but i definitely heard him get into it with some people, and heard stories about others. so i'd be careful. just don't disrespect. it's pretty far from the beach. but there are some good types who stay here and i met a lot of cool travelers.

I had the greatest time in Nice here at this hostel. Manuel, the owner is an absolute star and I have no idea how this place has received any bad reviews. Close to a glut of internet and calling cafes, supermarkets, the beach is a 10 minute walk. The rooms are decent, nothing fancy, but if you're in Nice to be in your hotel room, then you should holiday somewhere else! Had the greatest room mates, so that made the stay even better. Remember there is a depoit for the key, either money or a passport which is put in the safe for the duration of your stay.

an okay place to stay in Nice. There was no lock on our door and the bathroom smelled really bad, but the location close to the station/city/beach was great. I would stay there again, but it wasn't 100% perfect
