We had a room with a shared bath. The walls seemed thin but they had strict quiet hours and it was very quiet at night. It was 7 min from the train station and 5 min walk from the walking zoned of downtown. This was our best deal in Europe and we wish we had stayed another night to spend more time in the town. The water was the most drinkable we encountered on our trip. The town was very cute and had a fabulous resturant that did gluten free called Ritterstuben which as traditional bavarian food Belinda, from USA ~ 19th Jan 2012

House LA-City Hostel in Fussen was wonderful, clean, very informative and supportive staff and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Also was able to rent a bike for 8 Euros and biked everywhere - castles and around the lake.Thank you House LA for making our trip to Fussen so pleasurable.We will highly recommend. The location is quite good, near the Tourist Information center. No one was there when we arrived and was asked to call the phone beside. The owner told us our room no. over the phone and we go directly to the room (feeling insecure). In general, still recommend this hostel. Bathroom is big and clean. When I arrived, there was no staff in the house. The main door and some rooms were not locked. I used the phone at the entrance to contact the manager and he asked me to take my room key above a computer. I don t feel safe leaving my stuff in the room!
