We actually had to relocate from House on the Hill. They have a dog and my travelling companion is allergic to them. The staff was helpful and cooperative in assisting us in our relocation

For our first visit in Cape Town it was smashingly good. It was like a home away from home feeling. We all liked how your team kept it clean. It was a very safe atmosphere to be around. The dogs were fun too. I would highly recommend House on the Hills to family and friends and any one who needs a place to stay while they are in Cape Town. Thanks for making our first hostel experience wonderful and comfortable.
Was a great location near the waterfront, but the room was freezing! Had good facilities for self catering

A lovely place which is 10mins walk from the Water Front and 30mins from Long Street. It is a very quiet place with about 5 seperate bedrooms, a kitchen and laundry facilities. The bedrooms are cleaned daily and to a high quality. The staff sorted out all our tours around Cape Town we asked for and were very helpful all of the time. Would recommend this place with out a doubt! If you want a place nearer Long Street choose The Backpack.

House on the hill offers good service and nice comfortable rooms. It has a great location...close to everything but at the same time it's a nice quiet place, not a lot of young people partying till late at night but also a fun place, as long as you look for it yourself. Said differently...it's good value for the money, and we'll deffently recommend the place to others.
