I first visited HIH in 2002, but it seems to have distinctly declined in the meantime. Cleanliness of the floors in common areas, bathrooms, and the dorms is poor and there seems to be a general lapse in attention to detail nowadays, such as overflowing recycling bins and broken dvd players and vcrs, etc. The policy of locking the dorms instead of issuing guests keys is also quite inconvenient. when I arrived there I thought it was a wrong address it looks like nobody lives here ...very weird...inside it`s very messy ,not clean...but I survived ! staff are nice ,specially the two guys who are very friendly and helpful if you need any information, over all ,for the price this hostel is OK for me ,I booked few more days christine, from France ~ 22nd Jun 2009

Very affordable at a good location. The only thing is that it could be cleaner specially the bathrooms and kitchen. Staff is otherwise very curteous. Also tends to be quite warm and should have some better fans etc. Read Owner Comments SACHIN, from India ~ 29th Mar 2009
