The hospitality that Steven and his family provides is top notch! Steven genuinely cares about his customers, and he continuously went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. We would have been lost without his help! Also, the food they made for us (twice) was delicious! A big thank you to them, and I HIGHLY recommend staying at this hostel.
Perfect complement to a trip to Huangshan. From bus station pickup, delicious and healthy home-cooked meals, toilet seats, and impeccably clean rooms to Steven's helpful advice and his adorable daughter, this is an essential experience that I can't imagine my trip to Anhui without. My only 'complaint' was that Tunxi is about an hour's drive from Huangshan, though we had no trouble chartering a taxi (with Steven's help) and hiking up and down the mountain in a day.
The staff was so helpful and always willing to answer all of our questions. It was queit and had a very homelike feel.
We had a great stay at this B&B. Steven was extremely helpful, and was always ready to make a phone call or give directions. His family was really welcoming and his wife cooks a great meal. Staying at the B&B is in fact more like staying in a home, and Steven is the most helpful hotelier I have ever encountered. Thanks Steven!
This is a great B&B, we enjoyed our stay, and the host, Steven, is a wonderful guy and really helpful. Good cooking, and good value, and a free pickup from the station. Highly recommended for both authencity and comfort.

This is a wonderful home and family. Steven and his wife work very hard to have a clean bed and breakfast. He provides good information for Mt. Huangshan and other attractions in the area. Steven and his wife provide healthy dinners with local produce. They made us feel like a part of their family. This is a perfect bed and breakfast. We highly recommend this home.
If u want to see the mountains do not go to those overpriced and crappy hotels in Huangshan. Book this Hostel and u do not have to worry about anything. Food, accomondation and Steven and his family are just great. We really enjoyed our stay.

I went to Huangshan with my girlfriend for a 2-3 day trip. We are mostly satisfied with the accomodation: advantages: nice family (Steven, who helped us with the planning of the trips, his wife, who was also very helpful and kind and their 10 year-old daughter, who should become an actress once); delicious food (breakfast included, the price for the dinner was 20RMB/person) prepared by them; fully-equipped, modern room with a nice shower Disadvantage: since we went in mid-february, it was extremely cold. The family-members stayed in their coats as well, as for us, we put on at least 4 layers of clothes, and despite that we were shivering with cold at night even under two thick blankets... Once we dared to check thermometer in our room and it showed 5 degrees (C°) above zero. After all, i think the price was reasonable.
STAY HERE!!! I'm so glad we found this place. It's really more of a homestay but made our time in Huang Shan so much easier and more enjoyable! Steven is amazing and extremely helpful - he can arrange everything for you and I recommend letting him.
