Great, friendly, helpful staff. Convenient, right next to train station. 5 yuan cab ride to old street. Overpriced beers, and lack of a bar area, but thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended

note this is part of the (good) koala hostel chain. there\'s another koala in the old town that looked like a much better location but this is very near to the train and short distance bus stations. very noisy in the mornings but staff very knowledgeable and friendly

Great hostel close to train station. Very clean and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hostel is a bit difficult to find. Once you get out of the station, walk acorss the main street and go left. walk a block and a half and it is right there. I missed it a few times and finally found it aftering noticing the big sign on the rooftop. Don't try to take a taxi in front of the station as you will surely get ripoff.

The double room was very convenient, cozy and clean - better as many expensive hotels. But the best feature of this hostel is the staff : very competent, fluent English, and extremely helpful with any kind of problem : booking bus tickets and accommodation in the mountains or elsewhere, tips on places to visit etc. My best hostel experience so far!
