the staff in this hostel is aboslutely cool. They speak pretty good English and are really kind. Perfect hostel, maybe the only disadvantage is there's no breakfast.

Great place to stay for a few days. Staff are very friendly and helpful and make it feel like home. Great outdoor bar area, great music, lovely quiet garden. Great location for visiting many places by bike, bus or train like Badascony, Kesthely, Heviz, Veszprem. And close to lake for relaxing and swimming too. Was really a lovely place to stay. I will be back!!!!!!!

Despite how the Hostelworld booking confirmation appears, Hullam Hostel does not take Euros. Luckily for us the very friendly guy who runs the place made an exception in our case but make sure you bring Forints for your stay here. The location is good for Revfulop but it is a very small place and there\'s not much more to do than walk in the surrounding hills or go to the \'beach\'. Beaches here were not what we imagined - they are fenced off areas of grass with steps leading down into the lake. Although you have to pay a small admittance fee (approx 300HUF) it\'s well worth it on a sunny day. All of the staff were really friendly, helpful, and more than happy to give advice on activities in the local area (e.g. horse riding, hill walking, cycling). We stayed in a newly built part of the hostel, around the back of the main building. The room was reasonably small and was equipped only with beds but this was all we needed, and since few other people were staying in that part of the hostel we virtually had the shared bathroom to ourselves. Breakfast/lunch not provided but they are happy to provide cutlery, plates etc. if we bought it elsewhere. On the first night we were offered goulash for dinner (900HUF each) which was tasty!

A goode clean hostel right near the station and lake. No kitchen but a small shop nextdoor and a slow pc. The Manager was very helpful.

If you need a bit of a break from city-hopping this is the place for bicycle , walking and day trips to spatowns, wine estates or quaint villages in all directions.. Situated very near the lake and shops etc with lovely outdoor bar/lounge/ barbeque area listening to the best tunes direct from Budapest. Oh, and great staff.

The staff is really excellent! You feel as if you came there to visit them and not just to stay at a hostel. The atmosphere is very informal, that's really great!
