The Hotel was pretty good, though the reception staff were awful and even though we expected difficulty with the obvious language barrier, we were really disappointed with the uninterested staff clearly not even producing English standards of service let alone the famous eastern charm (remembering of course that this was an Ibis HOTEL).. As a basic assesment we'd say; Nice Hotel, well positioned, extremely poor customer service! Not once did we feel valued!

Average sized room for Hong Kong standards. Some may struggle with lots of luggage as there is no proper wardrobes for storage of clothes, other than a rail with a couple of hangers. However for the light traveller it is adequate. Conveniently located for North Point MTR. Many shops and some 24hour cafes nearby.

Cigarette smoke on floor was unbearable, and with no operable windows nothing could be done. Please inform customers in advance that they might end up on a smokers floor, no choice was given, and due to late arrival changs couldn't be made at that time.

the accommodation is basic but adequate for the price. One tip make sure you get a non-smoking room as the stale smell of smoke is not good!
