hey i've been there for 3 days and my thoughts are : the location is great, near las ramblas, and near the metro too. the staff seem very friendly and useful, instead of the waitress... yeah cuz she couldn't speak english and i couldn't understand any spanish.. and i was waitting to take a bath cuz was busy and she said to take it at the women restroom, that was kinda bad for someone who works there i think. the character was nice the atmosphere was pretty cool for youth. the beds were in a bad condition, when i woke up i was always feeling that i was been sucked in the center!! and i slept in one bed was a little dirty. the internet for free is ok. all the lockers were damaged.. thats BAD. i give 3-5 thats just a place to sleep, change, bath and let ure luggage. right? so was ok. im sure in the next trip to barcelona im goin to this hostel.

staff was really unhelpful and rude. reception seemed completely disorganized. showers were the worst i have ever seen in a hostel. 2 showers available for a a whole floor.

Great location. Big, industrial hostel. No aircon in the rooms, and very noisy matresses, megre breakfast, but very central, secure (almost like a prison) and a very nice roof terrace.

The location was great, but it was very difficult to find using the given directions. The security was also very good. During my stay, the washer and dryer didn´t work, and the H2O vending machine was out of order... and that sucks when you´re walking around Barcelona all day.

Theres this one girl at the front desk... usually has on matching colored earrings to her outfit... and she was SOOOOO rude! always so short with us. She didnt have any answers for us at ALL! she didnt seem like she wanted to be there... she should do us all a favor and LEAVE! the bathrooms were disgusting! with 4 stalls (for like 20-30 people) 1 of them didnt have a seat and only 2 had toilet paper (which didnt last long)... no soap in the bathrooms.. gross! the breakfast was decent because its right next to the opera house, theres always at least 2 buses on the street (probably for the light or sound crew for whatever show was playing) blocking the sidewalk... and it was NOISY!
