This is a fun little place in a good Kyoto location. I stayed in two of their four (?) buildings and there was a great difference between the ones I saw. Quiet place - more likely to see children than beer. Wireless works in the common areas, but not in all rooms. I would definitely go there again if I couldn't find something cheaper. This is our first hostel and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, their English and our overall impression of the place has been good. Hope all the other hostels on our trip live up to this standard. Vaniah, from England ~ 12th Sep 2009
