Absolutly Fabulous! Had an amazing time in this hostel, just like a home away from home, Kate was so helpful, relaxed and wonderful to hang out with. Infact all the staff were awesome. If you are a fan of the Uni flat vibe then this hostel is perfect for you! Totally reccomend it to anyone.

there are good vibs! They were waiting for us to arrive! There's a living room with books, dvds...Really friendly staff! Be sure you have enough HUF with you because they don't accept credit cards ;)

Nice place with a very good location - and pretty cheap, too. The only bad thing was that the living-room, which I thought was supposed to be place where you socialized with and talked to people, was equipped with a giant wide-screen tv and a couple of hundred dvd's. Though we managed to create our own party in the eight-bed room we lived when the other guys were watching "Apocalypse Now" downstairs...

our first impressions of this hostel we just wanted to leave!! it is a mess, oven was dodgy, stairs were dodgy, cold tap was dodgy and so were the flushs on the toilets. We arrived at 5.30pm and they didn't have a bed ready for us! They like to party alot though.
At the Max we do our best to maintain it clean. We have a check out policy flexible during low season. During High season every bed is ready before 11:00am. We are in Eastern Europe and the flush on the toilets are different from the flush in the Australia. We explain to them how it works and they were angry. Once again If you are looking for something more upper class, in the Hostel business, please check our sister Hostel called Suite Hostel. We offer dorm en suite and private room en suite.

this is one of the best hostels i've been to in europe. the staff are more like family, and there is a sister hostel which guarantees always a crowd for making friends and wild nights!

Great place!!!!! Small so you get to know every one. people are nice and looking for a good time. right near a metro station. full kitchen and good interent connection. may have to wait for the shower.

I highly recommend the Imperio Max hostel! It isn't your typical, huge industrial hostel... it's much more comfortable and inviting. We met a lot of great people here. Richard told us about the best places to get some good gulash and Arwin took us all out at night. Budapest just wouldn't have been the same if we had stayed anywhere else!
