One of the funner hostels I've stayed. Anyone going to Fukuoka should really try this hostel.

The room we had was really, really tiny (only enough room for the bunk bed), and the walls were very thin, which was sometimes inconvenient when we were trying to sleep. But it was clean and comfortable and a reasonable 10 minute walk from JR Hakata Station. Overall, for the price, it wasn't too shabby.
This is one of the better hostels I have been to. The staff were helpful and the other travelers were fun and looking to go out and see the town. The location is convenient for getting off the train, but it is far away from all the sights in Fukuoka. Its easy to get to the subway, but when they stop running at 12 at night its a long walk home.

Clean, professional and cheap, but far away from everything and you can hear the people in the hallway as if they were in your room. Free internet (wi-fi), nice roof top, smelly entrance. Good if you need a place to stay before travelling on, but I wouldn't stay there more than one night.

Great staging spot for the Sanyo and Tokkaido lines.
A little bit father from Hakata station than they tell you and not quite close to anything of note, but otherwise a fantastic and fun place to spend some time. Staff is helpful and the guests were a riot when I was there.
