I had a great time in the International House of United. There are not so many beds available so I also haven't met any other persons but I also stayed only for 2 nights. Ron was very helpful and friendly. Hostel was clean and in a very good area to walk to the city. I can recommend this hostel. Ann Kristin, from Germany ~ 20th Nov 2009

In general, this is one of the best hostels I have ever been to in America. The breakfast there wasn't very satisfactory, however. To begin with, the dining place is too limited and the utensils/appliances are not very clean. If it could be improved, this will be a perfect place to stay!! Chu-Chun, from Taiwan ~ 1st Nov 2009

Ron was SUPER nice, welcoming and very helpful. The room and the bathroom are ok. The location is very good, close to metro and walking distance from center. The house and furniture are a bit old but all i neede was there: a good bed, a clean bathroom and a nice Host to make suggestions on what to visit. Will recommend and come back for sure. Thanks! This is not a place for you if you want to avoid human contact or keep your business to yourself. In this hostel, you cannot be anonymous nor alone. This is an excellent place to stay for a few nights if you are unfamiliar with the city and don't mind getting in contact with other visitors but already in a week's time, I would feel I'm being watched.
