Really cool place for this money!!! Maksym, from Ukraine ~ 21st May 2012

Great location, close to pubs on Amsterdam ave., Columbus ave. and Central park. Bedrooms and restrooms are nice and clean, and the staff is nice. only 3 downsides are: 1. You're not allowed to bring your bags upstairs. You're supposed to leave them in the lobby and take only backpacks and small bags with you. 2. No wi-fi at all! They have one computer &internet station, costs a dollar per 10 minutes. I think it was worth it considering the great location and excellent price!! Sarah, from Israel ~ 11th May 2012

Leaving your luggage in the office that is closed at night is not so confortable 2 bathroom for 16 girls in the moring is really difficoult to manage there's only 1 pc and you have to pay for using internet you have to check out before 11 and after your check out you have to pay if you want to leave your backpack there for some hours Simona, from Italy ~ 4th May 2012

My only issue with this hostel was the bathroom situation! 2 one stall bathrooms for 20 ladies is just not enough! I waited to shower in the morning for almost an hour. Ashley, from USA ~ 18th Apr 2012

The staff is a little bit rude, bathroom are not that clean, does not have wifi, the stairs are uneven and they have some stupid rules (u can bring your luggage to the room, the office is open only from 8am to 11pm and u can't be in the room between cleaning hour). They literally kick u out between cleaning hours. The worse hostel i being so far. Ps: there was a robbery while i was there. A guy stay for a night and stole a phone, an iPod and a wallet. Then the policie found him. Giovanna, from Brazil ~ 9th Apr 2012

It's not very convenient that we can not get our big luggage case to our own room, instead, we have to store it in the office, which will not remain open for 24 hours. And there's no free wifi. Sometimes it can be important for travelers to get internet access for keeping in touch with families and friends and searching for necessary traveling information. But it's good that we can have hot showers all day. (but the number of shower room may not appear to be sufficient in "rush-hour" ti Siming, from China ~ 11th Apr 2012

I had a very smooth stay in New York. I only stayed for the day so the 11am - 3pm restriction from entering the room was not an inconvenience, however I can imagine it being annoying if I were to stay longer. Rachel, from USA ~ 31st Mar 2012

Great place for save money! Here, all travelers are friendly to make friends. Especially in the lounge, they usually gathered together for games etc. Also, most of the time staffs are willing to provide you traveling information. In my opinion, I think these staffs behavior more like your friends rather them treat you as a client...that means, sometimes you might feel be offended. Disadvantages are they only have 2 bathrooms for 2 eight-people female rooms. And, there is no wifi, no laundry..etc. Li- Hsuan, from Taiwan ~ 22nd Mar 2012

No WIFI, and they act very smug when they tell you this... like it shouldn't be expected. They kick you out of your room for 4 hours to clean everyday, but really for no reason. Obviously it doesn't take 4 hours to clean. Good location, but way to many rules. There not interested in making guests happy...
