  • The Island Guesthouse is by far the coolest place to stay if your on the South of the Island. Best way to get away from everything. It is somewhat hard to get to, as the bus system is confusing so I'd recommend getting a scooter or rent a car or else the taxi's will add up. The house is spacious, lots to do around town, very quiet, extremely clean, great breakfast and the most courteous staff ever. Best place to stay in Jeju if you ask me.

  • It's in a small town that you have to cook by yourself if you don't have a car. It's beautiful and quiet. You can rent bicycles from the staffs.

  • Cute decor and owner was very nice but out of town after the 1st night and staff-no English. Delicious homemade bread. Door to the double room did not close completely (sliding type), and no way to lock. There was a chest for valuables if you have ur own lock. In the middle of the night the front door was wide open...insecure and letting in bugs. Too many beds sharing one bathroom (only 1 toilet and 1 shower stall for whole place.) Staff didn't respect quiet hours for own friends, only guests.

  • Ailing is very kind and sweet, she makes you feel like you knew her your whole life. Some people complain about the location but there is lots to see in Jeju and you will have to take a bus no matter what. It's also next to Jungmun which many people consider the best tourist spot in Jeju. I'd stay here again.

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
