This place looks to be a 1960s hotel that failed and has been converted to a hostel to increase revenue. The location great but that is it. Avoid the rooms with east facing windows. The blazing direct sun woke me up every morning before 6AM! Karl, from USA ~ 30th Oct 2009

Wow, what a hostel. I promise you will not be disappointed. Best points: Cheap restaurant (particularly the steak), cheap bar, hot tub, pool, steam room, fridge in own room and kitchen faciilities. This was the most relaxing hostel we have ever stayed in and would return merely to enjoy the facilities without the need to see anything of Surfer´s Paradise. We were truly spoilt...
