My friend and I had a great experience at Istanbul Hostel. If this is your first time visiting Istanbul, you cannot beat the location of this hostel -a stones throw away from all the major sights (and tram)! The staff was very friendly and helpful in making reservations for things to do around Istanbul as well. You can come in and out of the hostel as you please 24hrs a day, which is great if you are like us and were out until 4am. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Istanbul!

Nice hostel in a great location but the shared toilets/shower would not suit older travelers. Staff were very friendly and helpful though. Breakfast was a modest Turkish breakfast.
