Don't be put off by the fact that this hostel is not in the centre of town - it's only 15 minutes walk in and it's a nice walk via the park - plus there are some nice pubs and good takeaways close by. We had a great time there.

Bathrooms were really clean, but it was far out from the town centre, but if thats the only problem we found, then you should be really happy!

Jailhouse was amazing. Its got loads of character and is one of a kind. The hostel is clean, comfy, friendly and relaxed. The kitchen is huge with everything you need in there. There is also a tv room, internet room and a home cinema. Its a great way to spend time in jail without getting a criminal record at the end of it. 5 star all the way.

Definately worth a visit for the experience. Really novel and clean. Great place to visit and feel like a prisoner - long hauls for independent travellers might be difficult but worth a short visit.

Great hostel-super clean, and just the idea of staying in an old jail just has to be taken advantage of! P.S-when they say comfy beds-seriously the best beds ever...hard to get out in the morning-soooo good for the back!!

A bit out of town but a great stay - freaked out everyone by saying I spent the night in jail!
