Jasmine Pension in Dahab, Egypt

When we arrived, the hostel had no record of our booking. There was a anyway, luckily. No air con in the rooms. Bathroom have SALTWATER, straight from the ocean, in the sink and shower ONLY. This is extremely lame. The price is RIDICULOUS--stay down the street at Penguin, where the rooms are 70 LE (30 LE cheaper than we paid) WITH air con, slightly desalinated water, and bigger! bathrooms a little shabby. Running salt water. Not sure what the standards are in Dahab though... Rooms were great, staff is great, restaurant is great for hanging out and we were not bothered when we brought in our own drinks and food. Michael, from USA ~ 23rd Sep 2009
