Heard mixed reviews about this hostel but in our opinion could'nt have asked for more. Ye the rooms were very sparce, however you dont visit NYC to sit in your dorm room!!!! Would recommend this hostel!!!

Saw some reviews that said hostel was cold. Our room was really warm (almost too warm). Maybe depends on which floor you're on. We were on the 5th.

It was warm in the room we stayed in and that was a wonderful thing, but we had to get our keys changed everyday because they wouldn't work.

Clean, cheap, and close to the subway; however the room was not well insulated from noise from the street and hall, and the hostel lacked some facilities I would have expected like internet access and had no self-catering facilities (or even a kettle in the room)

The first room was very loud and could and the beds were horrible, you could feel each bedspring, but the second room was much better, besides the beds.

No elevator and very loud noise all night!!! Not worthy to be here especially Private room rate is very expensive than quality.
