  • The staff there are good. Mixed Dorm room can be a problem if you mind. Overall, nothing to blame.

  • The location is good, but the place looks old and also amenities are very poor! Only 1 hair dryer in the whole bathroom. Staff is good except for the men, they all are Dominicans.

  • It would be nice if there was wi-fi in the rooms. Also, I was very disappointed about the lights in the girl's bathroom on the second floor. It was not working for a whole day and nobody came to fix it.

  • Disgusting place. All the corridors had a strange smell. The bathrooms were all flooded and dirty. We did not have water to shawer or even flush the toilet. Although the pictures look nice, the place is not a place to stay even one day!!

  • Average facilities, good location and very friendly staff. All in all I enjoyed the stay and definitely would consider staying in a Jazz hostel for my future travels.

  • this is a very good place to be in NYC. Facilities, location, staff and breakfast are pretty good. I enjoyed the free Friday afternoon BBQ offered by the Hostel. Very nice atmosphere. Nex time in NYC, I will stay there... for sure!

  • I had two small issues. First, no ice available. I enjoy hiking and taking a cold water bottle with me when I do. Most hostels I go to have free ice, a freezer, or cold water. Jazz didn't. Also, I checked out at 11am but didn't leave until 9:30 in the evening and they charged me to store my luggage for the afternoon. It was only $4, but most hostels and hotels I've gone to provide it as a service. Other than that, it was a very good place to stay.

  • Really enjoyed my stay here! Facilitites were good, breakfast was great, lovely staff, perfect location! Too bad there's no guest kitchen, though.
