Good enough for a place to stay. Loud, but reasonable considering the location. Good blend of people, all there to enjoy themselves.

the public areas were full of adv about be quiet after 10.00pm, but people start to do noise after 10.00pm every single day (Monday to Sunday), till 2 or 3 in the morning, because no one from the hostel was living there. If you are thinking to have double room, don't use this hostel, double rooms are like a cell (2*2) and just the bed. You must to pay for air conditioning . Rooms whit Esplanada views were much better than those down at the corridor. Cleanliness was good

Basic accommodation but sufficient.
Awesome hostel - it certainly isnt the ritz. but the staff and people are really cool, and amazing helpful. the location couldnt be better and the pool/kitchen area out the back is fantastic. definitely reccommend.
I really enjoyed every minute of my stay at jimmys,staff couldnt have been anymore helpful or friendly.stayed in a few hostels in Cairns and this was the best by far..... would recommend to anyone.
