Stayed here 2 nights- the location was a bit hard for our taxi driver to find, but the staff was great- friendly and helpful.This feels more like a hotel than a hostel- clean and nice rooms.Kata beach is definitely much more relaxed than Patong beach, so if you're looking for something more low-key, away from the late night party action, this would be a good place to stay. This hostel was beyond my expectations. Pim and Cherd are wonderful, friendly, helpful hosts and the staff are excellent - always smiling and helpful. The place is spotless, constantly making additions tonmake it more xomfortable for guests, and the dorms can barely be classified as dorms - with 5 rooms - but private. This was the best spot to land for the beginning of my travels - I doubt any other place can compare! The hostel owner (the guy that's always there!) is really kind, he went out of his way to help us giving me a lift to shop that was open as we arrived late for free, He let us have abook travel guide that some one had left for free, we also seen him rush some on in his car to hospital after a bike accident. It's a nice hostel and i liked the stay here very much! it's a walk away from everything, but that's alright! It felt a little bit like living in a hotel! They doing your bed every day, you get a fresh towel each day, tea and coffee, shower gel and shampoo. I would highly recommend this place to any friends!
