Amazing location in the heart of one of the most fascinating parts of the world and New Orleans. Be respectful, be wary, be conscientious, but don't be put off my Treme's reputation. Lovely people. Just think, you could be sleeping just across the street from where Louis Armstrong used to blow his horn, and in the same building where he used to get his horn blown! I have stayed in a lot of different hostels, but Joe & Flo's is definitely one of the best hostels I stopped at! The staff was awesome: very friendly and made me feel at home. I liked the room: very spacious with fridge and TV. Fully equiped kitchen you can share with the other guests. Great location: 6 blocks from the French Quarter (10 minutes walk).
