The boat is very cosy, only two rooms are available which makes everything very special. As a couple we enjoyed a lot the romantic surroundings, trees along the canal, and peculiar boats made the sight very enjoyable. The boat is ten minutes away from the central station, enough to avoid the noisy streets and stay very convenient to visit the city. The canal is located quite close to railways but we were not at all bothered by the noise. Access to the kitchen made it easy to cook something or have our meals when we wanted, without following a set schedule. We just loved it and had a great time! Thank you Jonas

The houseboat is very charming and cosy. It was a pleasure to live on the boat, with the water surrounding. The atmosphere was absolutely excellent. Ideal for couples!!

Jonas Houseboat was relaxing and v. individualistic. It was a v. good go-with-the-flow kind of space. If you are used to sterile motels/hotels, it's not the place for you, but if you don't mind having a well appointed room in a house that has its idiosyncrasies and wears its scuffs proudly, this would work well. We had our 2.5 year old with us and watched for his safety (no rails around the boat) and we all had a good time. Not a party hostel, which was fine by us.

Thank you Jonas, we had great fun during our stay at your boat. Especially that one morning when we had prolonged breakfast and that discussion on brain function etc. was really an mind-expanding experience. The next time we visit Amsterdam (next summer perhaps..?) we'll be surely coming back again!

Jonas Houseboat is a verry nice Place in the Center of Amsterdam. Only a view Cycleminutes from the Centralstation away is it a totally other World a little Countryside. The Rooms are clean and safe with fridge, tv, cd radio and a good fiew to the gracht. It is verry nice to use the kitchen. There is no traffic at the street no tourists, you can also sit outside at a campfire. Its a smooth athmo at the boat easygoing feel like home. Have a good time Jonas - greez Nina & Frank from Berlin
