staff was not customer oriented very much. it seemed like walking in to the office/reception was walking in to a room with a bunch of friends taking their time before asking you if you needed anything. security is good. wifi is not free. keypad entry on main door and room door. about 5 minutes from kings cross

Unfortunately there is no possibility to store and lock the bags in the room. Toilette would be great on same floor; but shuttle to stansted was nice. Thank`s, michael

Nice hostel, good breakfast, enough and clean toilets and showers. 40 minutes walking to Picadilli, good bus and underground conecction. Ten minutes walking to Cadmen going-out zone (Koko, the Purple Turtle...)

Not especially clean though not quite filthy. It all depends on your standards. The main selling point is being so close to the train station, and it's pretty safe with access codes on all the doors and all-night reception, even considering that the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. If you want to pay 5 times as much, there's a nice hotel down the street. Otherwise, if you're not too squeamish, it'll do. You might just want to bring your own sheets or a sleeping bag. I wasn't convinced that the ones provided for me had been washed in between guests, or anytime recently, for that matter...

They are changing the age range now (which is fortunate) but it just seemed to be filled with a bunch of older men. Easy to find and decent breakfast.

It was kind of small and cramped. But really close to the st. pancras/king's cross train station, which is why I stayed there. Breakfast is good if you get there early. Kitchen is useful. Sinks were broken in the girl's bathrooms... nothing was dirty enough to complain about but I wasn't terribly impressed.

Would not stay here again - noisy, dirty, bathrooms are shocking. Only real plus was the closeness to Kings Cross St Pancras

Excellent location and I would definetly recommend this hostel. It is one minute away from a supermarket, about three minutes from Kings Cross station and about five minutes from St Pancras. The security was generally good - door codes for outside and the individual rooms. The bunkbeds are reasonable enough, and should you end up with a top bunk, there are ladders (which from my experience is not always a given!). The only complaint I have - and it's not so much a complaint as constructive criticism! - is that the pillows were, well, crap. All in all, a very happy stay.
