The one receptionist was unwelcoming and borderline rude. The rooms had far too little circulation for how many people were crammed in there (can't open windows either), and you would need a tiny lock to use those lockers. And, the bedroom door couldn't be locked at all. It's also dirty, and in an unsafe area. A police car actually held up traffic to slow down and tell me to be careful about carrying my laptop case around. The breakfast and bar are fine, if you can overlook everything else. The MANAGEMENT of this hostel is the WORST I've seen in my life. I booked for 5 days and never happened to me before that I have to check out everyday at 10 am and TAKE ALL MY STAFF OUT from the room and wait until 2 pm to check in and take it in again. The manager told me that if don't like the rules I should leave the hostel. THE GUEST NEVER HAS RIGHT. Antonio, from Spain ~ 31st Oct 2011

There is a kitchen, but you have to pay a deposit before using it. The Kitchen is not very clean. The toilets and bathrooms are clean. Free breakfast buffet. Free wifi, and computers to lend. Chui Yan, from Hong Kong ~ 26th Aug 2011

Nice hostel south of the river. Owner ( I think) was very friendly. There's a bar in the same building which is nice. Showers and bathrooms perfectly nice and clean, kitchen as well, although i didnt really cook much there. The beds were ok, but made loud noises everytime the person in it moved. At first I got very dissapointed because there was an error on my check in and my bed was given to another person, but the staff was very helpful and got it solved right away. Nice place to stay if you don't mind noisy teenagers (but of course that's something all the hostels have). Location id great, like 2 mins from Kennington tube in a quiet and nice street. The only drawback is that there are not enough lockers for everyone in the dorms, so be careful with your stuff if you don't get a
