They do not permit you to bring outside food or beverages inside the hostel because they want you to buy their overpriced drinks and food. Other than that, it is a pretty cool place.

I had a GREAT time. Todd was funny and friendly. Worth going just to meet him. Happy hour was fun and cheap. Rooms were clean and I had the best Central American shower. The water was extremly hot. Great Place to stay.

I had a blast at this place. The staff is very fun nad the location is relatively close to the Plaza Mayor. If you are going to stay here, be prepared for some noisy nights. My first night there was ¨Ladies Night¨where all the guys were dressed up like girls and had a dance contest. hahaha. Dont go to this place if you want absolute serenity and peace and quiet. With that being said, quiet time always starts at 10pm, which I really appreciated. So if you do want to sleep, just wait til 10, and if you want to continue partying, just go to a bar. There arent too many showers there so you either have to wait in line or get there at a decent time. Overall, its biggest perk is its atmosphere.

Nasty agressive staff, who messed up my travel booking, and then charge me for their mistakes, and call in the tourist police to threaten you to pay. Not nice.

the take a big profit on everythings. it will be very helpful and fair to inscribe the price they charge for the airport pick up. we send 3 email to know before accepting the pick up. they never answer our request, pick up us and charge 15 dollars more than all the others shuttle... if we have knowed the price we will never accept to take there shuttle. that makes me not recommand at all jungle party during my trip

the hostel ripped me off for the price of an extra night´s stay. i had a confirmation by email for four nights at the increased price of twenty five dollars a night, followed by a fifth night at the usual rate of eight fifty per night, but when i arrived (remember at santa semana all hotels are fully bookedl) they demanded an extra night at twenty five dollars which i had no choice but to pay i showed them that they had not written to me anything of the kind
