staff is very helpful, in getting around and planing trips , plus a relaxed atmosphere at the hostel, had no problem sleeping. i will stay here again. next trip.. larry

Alright, this hostel is clean and safe. The staff is gentle,they will always help you. The only thing is if you are allergic to cats, don't go. There are 3 cats walking around in liberty, in the hostel. The luggage storage is also really secure. The water has some difficulty though, to be hot sometimes, as in every hostel of Costa Rica I guess. In general I had a good time!

Travellers with allergies should know that there are two cats who live at this hostel, and they roam freely. I had to swat one of them off me while I was sleeping in the middle of the night!

Mauricio was extremely helpful in helping us settle down and make plans during our stay in San Jose. FREE internet with multiple computers and FREE breakfast. The rooms and facilities were very clean and the hostel was very secure and safe. The people and atmosphere was very friendly and nice. I would definitely stay here again.

This was my first experience in a hostel and it was really awesome. I was only hear for one night before my study abroad program, but it was comfortable and memorable. =)
All in all, it was a nice place. Hot water was working and the guests were fun but there was just a stench of cat urine from the cats roaming around.
