- “ We let them know we were coming a day early. They put us up in a mouldy room out the back for that night as the room we had booked was no available. The room was dirty and mouldy and very hard to get a good sleep in. The next night we got the room I had booked and it was fine. If you choose to stay here, pay the extra and stay in a good room, but avoid at all costs room 9. The staff were very helpful and the pool is a refreshing addition to the stay. Breakfast was great. Kandy was a great stop in our holiday. If you go to the elephant orphanage, Do not believe the tuk tuk drivers if they say it is closed for repairs. They are trying to get a commission of entry to a smaller park on the way. Insist on going to the Pinnewalla Elephant Orphanage. It was fantastic and worth every cent. ”
