The roof terrace where we had breakfast was in need of a good clean, the covers for the seats were very dirty and the loungers had not been cleaned for a long time, I know this is a backpackers hotel and is very basic but should be clean. DOREEN, from England ~ 24th Mar 2012

We loved our stay at Keylany! The staff, particularly Abdeen, was extremely helpful. They were always willing to give correct information to tourists on pricing they should be getting on all goods and services from outside touts, tourist agencies, taxis and restaraunts so that folks don't get cheated. They can set up tours, give great recommendations, and are supremely concerned about your well-being while in Aswan. I only stayed for one night, but the staff was cordial, the location was nice as it was in the middle of a shopping district, nearby the court, and right across from a popular bakery shop (I got to see people of different ages, different senses of fashion, and different professions you definitely get to see the bustle of downtown).
