Overall good value for a hostel in London, but a few negative points include: (1) expensive internet access - preferentially go to the nearby MacDonalds, you'll pay less for a soda or fries and their free internet access. (2) They actually welcome schoolgroups, so you have to consider you may happen upon 20 or 30 ten year-olds at breakfast... tends to clog up everything, really, and don't expect to sleep in when they are running up and down the stairs. Then again, this may not bother everyone. Francoise, from Canada ~ 9th May 2012

This was a great place for my 10 year-old daughter and me to stay. It's centrally located to trains and attractions in London, the staff was GREAT (!!!!), breakfast was fine and filling, the room was clean and serviceable, and the shared bath and shower well maintained. They also seemed to attract very pleasant guests -there were no parties in the halls or that sort of thing. Our stay was perfect and it helped us enjoy London comfortably. Thanks! The hostel was quiet. Dorms, toilets and showers were clean, beds are comfortable but ac was broken and they had no hair dryers. I chose this hostel because the whole group could sleep in one dorm for all 4 nights of our stay but there was a mistake in my reservation and one of us had to spend the first night separately - that wasn't fair , but we got one free towelP Jakub, from Poland ~ 5th May 2012

The hostel is conveniently located, just few steps from King's Cross Station and it is reasonable clean. The staff is quite helpful especially the pretty Asian girl who was extraordinary, she did her best to find two beds for us because the hostel was already fully booked. Again thank you!! Two downsides: - Internet wifi should be free (costs £5/day) - The bathroom cabins at 1st floor are quite uncomfortable, the washbasin is incredible small and there are no shelf where to put your stuff. definitely bring shower shoes and a towel! Otherwise you have to buy a towel there for 4 pounds. You can buy wifi or pay to use their computers, and if you buy wifi you can only use it on the computer you activate it on so if you are with a group of friends and everyone wants wifi on their computer you have to all buy it separately. 5 pounds per day or 12 pounds for the week which is a much better deal if you are staying for more than 2 days. breakfast is free and was pretty good. staff is great Amanda, from USA ~ 1st May 2012
