Excellent hostel. Very great location close to everything and the Egypt museum is 10min walk. Nice area. Super safe. We had a huge room with en suite bathroom. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every day on our short stay. Air con and TV. The owner is a very nice guy. Highly recommend it. Maxson, from Australia ~ 11th Nov 2009

The hotel owner was arrogant and only interested in us whilst he thought we might book tours. One of our friends had an item of clothing taken from her room. The staff smoked in the breakfast area and on duty in the reception area krystyna, from England ~ 20th Oct 2009

I left my mobile in the taxi the first night. I had no receipt or taxi number. The owner of the hostel tracked down the taxi driver and returned my phone within 24hrs. It was amazing. They are more than willing to help you with any problems you might have and will serve you tea while you wait. Akinwande, from USA ~ 8th Oct 2009

King tut hostel is a good choice for someone travelling in a small budget the place is clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful with the information about tours that can be taken, the location is excellent not far from the main attractions, you can arrange a pick up from the airport just for a fare price. Breakfast could be better and you may find the place is a little bit noise ( beacouse the street and located in downtown ) but without a doubt is a good place to rest. We stayed two nights and were very comfortable with everything. I think for Cairo, Egypt, it was one of the best for the price. It was nice to have a continental breakfast both mornings with coffee. Rafek and soliman arranged all of our tours, train tickets and travel in Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor. We didn't have to do hardly anything. It was relaxing to know it was all taken care of. We would definitely stay there again. Sarah, from Australia ~ 23rd Aug 2009

Cindy, from Monaco ~ 24th Jun 2009
