The staff at Kismet Dao were incredibly helpful, kind and cheerful. The hostel itself is a fun and friendly place to be. The kitchen has a great view over the town and there's always free coffee. The hostel is a 20 min walk from the centre of Brasov, but it's a nice walk to get there through the old part of the city. Our accommodation, an apartment just across the road from the hostel, was decent enough, well priced and comfortable. I'd certainly recommend Kismet Dao. Bertie, from England ~ 21st Oct 2009

We had a very nice stay nearby the old city of Brasov, only a ten minute walk. The view from our 6room-dorm was beautiful. There is a tv room where you can watch many dvds they have. There is also a basement where you can drink and turn the music on really loud, without bothering the neighbours. You also get a free drink everynight you sleep there. short walk from the town centre. only one female shower which you have to walk through reception to get to. bed in private room pretty uncomfortable but bearable. free laundry good idea but be careful what you put in to be washed, i had a t-shirt that never came back! another girl had pants that also went missing! most of the staff are friendly, you get the odd one that preferred to spend her time on her mobile chatting to friends rather than help you. no room to lock your luggage in upon Ben, from Australia ~ 11th May 2009

Location is not the easiest to get to, but is not too bad once you figure out how to get to it. The staff is VERY friendly and arranged a driver to take us out to Poenari Castle one day. Great place to stay, excellent atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Extended my stay just because Its so nice here. Only thing is security, sometimes when the girls are busy there is no one watching the door/desk so anyone can walk in..... Other than that it's a great place. barry, from England ~ 4th Apr 2009
