Kiss Hostel in Kirkwall, Croatia

I don't even know how this place is listed as a "hostel" it's more someone's dirty flat with bunk beds. This place is a mess, always ICE COLD SHOWERS, dirty rooms, dirty sheets, uncomfortable spring or air mattresses (yeah, they have AIR MATTRESSES). I felt like I was staying in a bum's squat. Also, the staff is awfully rude. I had one of the women here slam a door in my face! I would rather die then stay here again, and that's coming from someone who has been travelling and staying in hostels

You came at night in 2 o'clock and check in was untill 11 pm. You enterd in toilet with suitcase and stayed 2 hours let the water runs, broke the shower and the night gard scared that you were sick in there and they knocked on doors that you won't even open. You left from bathroom at 4 o'clock in the morning and screaming so that we must calm you down. In the morning at 12 o'clock you wanted to leave ot of the hostel but check out was at 10 then she was walking from all building with the suitcase so that people who live in same building asked what's wrong with that girl. On her night closet we found some medicines so that we can be angry at her. But thank you for being our guest!

The manager was not that friendly to other people in the hostel. Hostel is next to a busy main road so it is noisy at night time. Joanne, from Australia ~ 9th Aug 2011
