very nice place to stay. There is a bus station very close to the hostel and the staff and friendly and helpful, however you should be careful with booking buses from the ad in the lobby as the buses are very unreliable, don't leave on time, and we had to change buses part of the way through the trip.

A little far away from the action but easy to access once you know how. Very helpful manager, with a good command of English - not a given based on experience in other places!

This is one of the best hostels I stayed in China. The rooms are excellent, and very clean, this was the best rooms I\'ve stayed and the prices are really good. The staff is very friendly and kind, but it was very difficult to communicate with the because only one member of the staff was english spoken. The location is not the best, but you are 15 mins walking away from every where and there are many Taxis or buses you can jump in to get wherever you want to go.

Clean, clean, clean. Modern rooms, nicely decorated. Carrefour supermarket at walking distance, very good place to spend the night. No other facilities available, not much tourist information/help available from the staff.

Good place to spend the nights, it's clean and the beds are good, but it's not central.

I stayed in room 301 it was comfortable and clean. A few hickups with electrical problems were solved speedily. I wish reception staff would have a basic knowledge of english. However that problem exist in most Hotels in China I stayed in. I would stay again in Danzhao albeit it is a little out of town. Daniel V.Switzerland

Very good value for money and the staff where so nice and friendly and went out of there way to help us with everything we asked, the rooms were nice and tidy and have everything you need. The location is a little bit out but you can catch a bus to whereever you want for 1 un and is just as quick as a taxi, i would reccomend to anyone and would stay there again if back in kunming.

This was a very clean and comfortable hostel however there are some problems. They speak very little English (they connect you to this guy on the phone to try and translate), it is out of the way but very good directions by bus, and the front rooms facing the main street are very noisy. Some suggestions for this hoetel would be to have an English/Chinese translation book and have more information for English guest, in English! Overall, a good experience and they do try their best to help you. Excellent room for the price!

Although the location is not great (if you are there to party or want to meet other people) if however you are travelling with a group this hostel is good. Probably one of the cleanest hostels I have ever been to. If you do stay there try and get a room on the back side of the building away from the traffic noise on the front side.
