  • Our 3-person room included only two beds, so we had to share one of them, and the room was incredibly tiny. On the plus side, it had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the Hong Kong heat. There was also no communal meeting area, so it was difficult to meet fellow travelers. Not a great value for the money, although I get the impression that everything in Hong Kong is overpriced. We didn't interact with the staff much; they seemed fine. It was clean, safe, and conveniently located.

  • We stayed there durring 3/13, and were very disappointed! Thevroom was very small (even by Hong Kong standards), dirty and it was also used as a storage room for the hostels stuff (under the bed). Outside the hostel you can find merchants who will bother you 24/7.

  • Me and a friend stayed in Hong Kong only for one night so we were looking for a good location and a good price. We found both here! I didn't expect much but I was positively suprised, the room was clean and so was the bathroom. The staff was also very nice and careing. The room was pretty small, but that's what you can expect in Hong Kong anyways, although we were happy we only had our small bags with ous :) All in all it's a nice place for a short stay in Hong Kong!!!

  • Kyoto guesthouse is a nice hostel, even though its really small. If you don't expect to stay at the room for more than sleeping its totally okay! The location is amazing and the staff is very helpful and friendly!! We had some great days in Hong Kong and I would definitely recommend this place :)

  • This place is perfect if you just need a place to sleep in Hong Kong - there isn't really any common area so don't come here if you are looking to meet people. Rooms are small but clean and the women at reception are really friendly. Don't be put off by the Chung King mansions location - I felt completely safe there as a solo female traveller.

  • I thought that staying at the mansions would be really sketchy. However, I was shocked by how clean and organized it was. Also the location is incredible. The rooms are small; after all it is Hong Kong, but I would stay there again. I stayed in a triple with my friend (we just payed for an extra person); it was comfortable for 2 people but I could imagine it as cramped for 3. Clean and great value. The bathroom is small and the shower gets the toilet all wet, but its not that big of a deal.

  • It is excellent except the restroom is a bit small but for this price. You can never find it any better in Hong Kong.
